WASH

At UNYDA, our programs focus on creating awareness in basic hygiene practices, construction of clean water facilities, community participation in cleaning campaigns in settlements and in the distribution of non-food items (NFIs).

Providing adequate water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services is a key public health challenge in South Sudan. Access to safe and sufficient water and improved sanitation as well as maintaining good hygiene is crucial to human health, well-being, dignity and development.
